In September 2019, NASEO’s Board of Directors approved the creation of an Alumni program for former NASEO State and Territory Energy Office members to help connect former NASEO Members and support the role of the State Energy Offices in advancing practical energy policies and programs.

There are two categories of complimentary Alumni Membership.

NASEO Alumni Member Benefits
- Inclusion in NASEO’s regular communications, news, and events emails
- Access to other NASEO Alumni Members’ contact information to facilitate networking
- Listing on NASEO’s Alumni Member webpage
NASEO Alumni Member Requirements
- Service in a State, Territory, or the District of Columbia Energy Office
- Provide your name, current email, current professional affiliation (if any), and former state role to be listed on the password-protected NASEO Alumni Member website and shared only with other Alumni members

NASEO Alumni Partner Benefits
- Inclusion in NASEO’s regular communications, news and events emails
- Access to other NASEO Alumni contact information to facilitate networking
- Listing on NASEO’s Alumni Member webpage
- Receipt of written summaries of NASEO’s government affairs calls
- Reduced registration fees for NASEO’s Annual Meeting and Energy Policy Outlook Conference
- Special recognition as an Alumni Partner on NASEO’s website
NASEO Alumni Partner Requirements
- Service in a State, Territory, or the District of Columbia Energy Office
- Provide your name, current email, current professional affiliation (if any), and former state role to be listed on the password-protected NASEO Alumni Member website and shared only with other Alumni members
- Provide strategic advice and input for a mutually agreed upon number of volunteer hours on a NASEO program or project or serve as a mentor for a State Energy Office in coordination with NASEO staff
